Clinic Allows Self - Treatment

The studentlegislature passed a bill Thesday that ·ccindemned "the ~ntofhomo~:·~. however, the legislators defeated another bill that would have recommended amending the university's policy of non-discrimination to include non-discrimination on the basis of sexual preference. Bill36, the Harassment Condemnation Resolution, passed after a short -discussion. It read, "The legislatUre condemns the harassment of homosexuals as it does the harassment of any member of the Wake Forest University." The resolution was presented by Will Knecht of the Clllllpus life committee, who said: "In no way does [this bill] say that any one of us supports homosexuals or believes in their practices. It says that the student body is against the harassment of any group of stUdents." Bill 'r/, the Statement of NonDescrimination Resolution, was defeated by a roll call vote of 24 ''yea' to 32 ''nay"; there were three abstentions.
